Pastels USA 2008

Two of my pastel paintings have been accepted into the upcoming Pastels USA 2008 exhibition.
The moody painting to the left is "Farmland" and was a studio painting.
The plein air painting to the right, done on a warm late summer day, is "Red Barn."
The exhibit will be shown in Stockton, CA at the Haggin Museum. It opens May 18 and ends June 22. There's a reception/awards ceremony on May 31 from 2-4 pm.

BACPAC Newsletter Launch

BACPAC has launched a quarterly newsletter. In the newsletter we'll list news and upcoming events such as exhibits, member's open studios, paint-outs, etc. We'll also have a few images of our recent art work.

Triton Museum Competition Results

I was thrilled to have two paintings accepted in the Triton Museum's Statewide Competition, so imagine how excited I was to find out that one of them, "Storm at Sundown", was given a Silver Award of Merit!

A Brush with Nature

BACPAC members will be exhibiting their plein air paintings at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA. Please join all the BACPAC members and others at a Museum reception for the artists on Friday, January 18, from 7-9 pm.
