Two of my pastel paintings have been accepted into the upcoming Pastels USA 2008 exhibition.The moody painting to the left is "Farmland" and was a studio painting.
The plein air painting to the right, done on a warm late summer day, is "Red Barn."
The exhibit will be shown in Stockton, CA at the Haggin Museum. It opens May 18 and ends June 22. There's a reception/awards ceremony on May 31 from 2-4 pm.
