Mary Stahl's painting in Pastels USA 2009

I have some news to share. My painting Autumn Glory has been accepted into the 2009 Pastels USA show to be on display at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara, CA. Show dates are Saturday, July 25 until Sunday, September 27. There's a reception on Friday evening, July 31, although I will be out of town and not able to attend.

I'm thrilled to be participating in an upcoming exhibit at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA
The Exhibit will feature 50 paintings in 50 days. 64 artists from around the San Francisco Bay Area are participating in this juried show.

Exhibit Dates: 7/24/09--8/29/09

Grand Opening: 7/24, 2009, 7-9pm

The paintings are available for pre-sale but must be hung at the show opening.

I'm excited to be able to share this journey with you.
This project is very timely for me.
I broke a bone in my foot last week and won't be painting outdoors for a while.
I'm spending a lot of time in my studio.
These little gems will be inspired by studies, past paintings, photos and peaceful places.

Color Notes exhibit

Many of the BACPAC artists are participating in a show at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA. The exhibit is called "Color Notes" and is being displayed in the theater at the Sanchez Center.

The show is on display from April 5 through July 5, 2009. The Gallery is open in conjuction with Saturday evening concerts. Check the schedule on the Pacifica performances website  (See below), and enjoy music and art together.
