2009 Salon International, The Greenhouse Gallery

This painting, "Palo Alto Afternoon", by Alice Weil was accepted into the 2009 Salon International Exhibit at The Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonia, Texas.

In Color, In Season

BACPAC members are pleased to be exhibiting their recent work during the month of December 2008 at Main Street Cafe & Books in Los Altos, CA. 

Participating artists are Selora Albin, Brigitte Curt, Marcia Enns, Kim Holl, Krishna Kopell, Susan Brott Lawson, Morning Nichols, Sandy Ostrau, Mary K. Stahl, Linda Stanley, Alice Weil, Karen White, and Tonya Zenin.   Guest artist will be Jim Smyth, well known Bay Area art teacher/mentor.

Location: Main Street Cafe & Books, 134 Main Street, Los Altos, CA

Dates & times: December 1-31, 2008

Monday - Saturday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Sunday, 8 am to 2:30 pm.

A reception with the artists is planned for Friday evening, December 12, 5:00 to 7:30 pm.  We hope to see you there!

LGAA Member Juried Show

Two of Alice Weil's paintings and one of Mary Stahl's paintings were accepted into the 2008 Los Gatos Art Association Annual Member Juried Show. Mary won an Honorable Mention award for her pastel painting Stormy.

The exhibit is on display from October 30 through December 4 at the Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Avenue (at Main Street), Los Gatos, CA .

Pastel Society of the West Coast exhibit

Two of Mary Stahl's paintings have been accepted into the 2008 exhibit of the Pastel Society of the West Coast. On display will be her paintings titled "Farmland" and "Reflections." The venue is the Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Avenue, Vacaville, CA from October 4-31, 2008, with a reception the evening of October 4.
